Meet The World

Meet Banff National Park.

Banff.  My mountainous natural paradise, 1.5 hours outside of Calgary, is the Town of Banff located within Banff National Park.  A day pass to the park sets you back only $9.80 per adult ($8.30 for seniors, $4.90 per youth – or a family/group for $19.60).  Between breathtaking views, tons of trails, and loads of delicious food amidst boutiques, Banff has something for just about everyone.

Those looking to unwind, like we were, can check out the Banff Upper Hot Springs for only $7.30 per adult.  This is essentially a large outdoor hot tub filled with 100% mineral water kept at a steamy 40°C or 104°F.  They have bathing suits for rent as well as towels with large change rooms to accommodate a crowd.  We went on a fairly busy day, but there was always room to sit and take in the incredible views.

What’s a trip to Banff without a visit to “the castle in the Rockies,” better known as the Château Fairmont Banff Springs.  This luxury hotel is the epitome of luxury and romance, nestled between the mountains and shrouded with trees.  The hotel comes with a spa, activities such as horseback riding, 7 dining experiences, as well as a bowling and entertainment centre.  Check out the view below from one of their many terraces away at the back of the hotel.

Meet Banff.

Absolutely stunning view, in such a peaceful, breezy spot.  Next time I come to Banff, I’ll make sure to stay longer, and to book a room here for the experience.

Meet Banff.

Judging by the way that Banff is still in my head, it may end up being sooner than later.  I’m already day dreaming of waking up in the Rockies.  😉

Happy exploring, everyone!

xoxo,

Judianne
