Cultural Display
A keen eye will help you find the cultural display in the open hall. The cultural display sign is clearly displayed right beside the stage. It’s sectioned off behind a curtain and has different information boards with facts about Ireland and its history.
Food
Get your classic pub grub at this pavilion, and quench your thirst with Irish Coffee. Or, go with none other than a Guinness beer that you can order from their temple bar.
Entertainment
The Brady Academy dancers are the mainstage performers. We had the pleasure of also seeing Fred Nguyen who holds the title of the North American Champion in Irish dancing. My heart melted with the youngest performers – they actually do their performances one after the other. You can see the progression of the skills of the dancers as they build up to the principle dancers. As they came up to do their bows, one little girl waved and blew kisses at the audience. ADORABLE!
Above and Beyond
Folklorama is about the sharing and celebration of cultural arts and traditions. It was a pleasant surprise to see Fred Nguyen as the headliner guest. This is totally what a multicultural celebration is all about!
Thank you again to the folks at the Celtic Ireland Pavilion! We hope you had a wonderful week!
